McCandless Bus Center donates 2,150 PPE care packages to local Colorado school districts
McCandless Bus Center understand the importance of schools within our community infrastructure and therefore is dedicated to providing continual support throughout the year – whether it be through donations, trainings, or direct community service.
As the new school year approaches, we wanted to play an active role to ensure bus drivers and other transportation personnel are equipped with what they need to promote safe practices and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Most recently, we have committed to donating 2,150 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Care Packages to several local school districts within our community to not only promote the safety of school bus drivers and other school personnel, but allow them to better protect the health and well-being of the students and families they serve.
Each kit contained a face mask or IC Bus branded brandana, cotton gloves and a refillable bottle of hand sanitizer. The goal of these kits is to help assist with driver safety and safe practices as they begin their back-to-school preparations throughout the upcoming weeks.
We have finished hand delivering these kits to the schools and wish everyone a safe and successful start to the 2020-2021 school year! We appreciate the partnerships and relationships with the schools and are so happy to be able to assist them with their back to school safety efforts! Take a look at the photos below:
