McCandless Truck Center takes part in the CPCD Community Giving Event

McCandless Truck Center has been a recognizable name throughout the Colorado communities for several years. As a family-owned company, a big part of our philosophy is to help support our local communities and community organizations.  

This week we were able to show our ongoing support for CPCD at their 13th Annual Community Giving Event.  Chris McBroom, General Manager at our Colorado Springs location attended the event on behalf of McCandless Truck Center.  We have been involved with CPCD for many years and are so thankful to be able to support such a great cause.  CPCD serves over 1800 children throughout El Paso county.   With 63 classrooms over six county school districts, the work that CPCD does is vital to the community. Not only does CPCD provide physical, nutritional, behavioral and educational services to children 3 to 5 years of age through their Head Start program, but they offer a Preschool program and an Early Head Start Program to pregnant women and children under 3.  

As one of the event sponsors for 2019, we were thrilled to hear that the event was able to secure full sponsorship and all costs and donations go directly to children and families in need. Donations and support for CPCD programs help prepare young children and families for success in school and in life.
